Honda has premiered two concept cars at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show, both offering a teaser of a new '0 Series' all-electric lineup that the firm plans to launch come 2026.
The first of these concepts, simply called 'The Saloon', is said to represent the flagship of the Honda 0 Series. The car comes with a low overall height and sporty styling, however, Honda states that the vehicle will offer more interior space than its exterior suggests. The car also sports an instrument panel that is said to utilise a sophisticated yet seamless user interface.
The Honda 0 Series Saloon will also make use of steer-by-wire technology and gets a motion management system said to be a product of Honda's development of robotics technology. These technologies will allow the vehicle to deliver driving joy, even in an electric era.
Also unveiled at the exhibition is the Honda 0 Space-Hub. Developed to offer a spacious cabin and excellent visibility, the car is designed to offer a flexible space that connects people to others and the larger society.
The two concept cars also premiere a new 'H' mark that comes with two ends that look like outstretched hands, said to represent Honda's commitment to augment the possibilities of mobility and its sincerity in serving the needs of the users of its electric vehicles. This new logo will be used on the next generation of Honda vehicles, including the 0 Series models.
