Fiat reveals special Collezione 1957 500
Fiat has launched the Collezione 1957, a limited edition Fiat 500 to mark the year the car was introduced to the world.
Limited to just 1,957 examples, the special car gets a cabrio body, alongside a two-tone White Gelato and Rugiada Green bodywork complete with a Beige capote. This two-tone body is set off by a silver beauty line and 16-inch White Diamond alloy wheels. The car also comes with chrome mirror caps, alongside a 1957 serigraphy third light that pays homage to its heritage.
In the cabin, the Fiat 500 Collezione 1957 comes with ivory seats that sport frau leather inserts and get a 'One of 1957' embossed logo, a wooden dashboard and a dedicated numbered plate on the central tunnel.
The special edition car also gets LED daytime running lights and a 7.0-inch digital display as standard. Examples headed to Europe while get a 1.0-litre engine that develops 70bhp paired to a manual transmission, while those headed to Japan will get a 1.2-litre engine that develops 69bhp paired to an automated manual transmission.
Fiat states that more than 3.2 million examples of the 500 have been sold worldwide since its modern iteration was unveiled in 2007.
