Rolls-Royce celebrates London Craft Week

Rolls-Royce has announced that it will be presenting three art pieces at the 2024 London Craft Week.
The pieces will be exhibited at the marque's flagship residence in Mayfair, and all take inspiration from the city of London itself. Rolls-Royce states that it wanted to capture both the modern and traditional culture and style of London with these pieces.
Kicking things off, the marque's Exterior Surface Centre has drawn inspiration from the famous haunts of London to create a map of London on the bonnet of a Phantom. The bespoke bonnet features over 20 coats of paint, and features a unique interpretation of some of London's most recognisable landmarks, all hand-painted.
Also set to feature at the event from Rolls-Royce's Interior Trim Centre are two vibrant door cards. The first door card makes use of Turchese leather covered with a layer of Scivaro Grey leather and features 7,700 perforations, which conjure the impression of an aerial view of the River Thames. The second door card, meanwhile, makes use of a Lime Green covered by Scrivaro Grey leather, and makes use of perforations to offer an abstract expression of the city's world-famous architecture.
Finally, the firm's Interior Surface Centre has created a picnic table that celebrates some of the city's most famous buildings. This table is the product of over 50 hours of cutting, pressing and assembling, all by one highly skilled artisan.
The unique pieces will be on display in the window of Rolls-Royce's flagship showroom in Berkeley Street, Mayfair, London, U.K. from 13 to 19 May 2024.
