Audison bit Ten is a multi-function digital processor featuring analog input, capable of transforming ordinary OEM or after-market system into a high-performance system
Provided with a 32 bit, 147 MHz clock speed DSP as well as 24 bit A/D and D/A converters, bit Ten is controlled by a software specially developed for signal treatment according to the vehicle acoustic peculiarities
Setting the parameters of each input single channel, setting the delays according to the listening position, adjusting crossovers and equalizers for each of the 5 output channels; all of these operations can be managed by the PC
During the installation phase, after converting the analog signal into digital, bit Ten automatically reconstructs a digital full-bandwidth stereo signal; de-equalizes the frequency response and, if necessary, reconstructs the central and subwoofer channels
The user can configure the output mode of each channel relative to the installed system
It is designed to be connected with the DRC, Digital Remote Control (optional)

Great addition to any sound system!

The Audison Bit Ten unit, does exactly what it says. I added one of these to my system and can't figure out how I got by without it. The hookup is straight forward, but it takes a little time to tune the unit to your particular taste. The instruction manual, wasn't too helpful with the tuning process, so I basically had the stereo going and played with the settings until it was just right. Now, being a person that LOVES a good bass line, this comes in handy bringing out hidden bass lines songs that you wouldn't believe. I found myself playing a couple of "Musica Corridos", which have hidden bass lines that are ridiculous. The price is definitely worth tying out, I blew one of these Bit Tens out after a couple of years of heavy use.

Great for audiophiles who do not have much funds!

I am an audiophile, one that appreciates quality sounds. But there is one problem, I do not have much funding to do up a high-class, blasting in-car stereo system. I do have knowledge and experience in installing stereo equipments, and I figured out that by using this BitTen processor, I would be able to dish out quality sounding audio even by using my OEM sound system. After a few hours spent installing this processor into my Honda Civic, I was ready for results. Powered up my sound system, turned up the volume; my, was I amazed by the sound quality enhancement by the BitTen. It even surpassed what I was expecting! Better sounding tones, along with crystal clear, undistorted delivery. This was definitely a great device to get once you get someone knowledgable to get it done for you.
