High end Ester base engine oil
Motul 300V Power Racing series was never on my purchase list due to the high price tag. The effect between Motul and RED LINE was quite identical, probably due to the same group of oil (Ester-based). The visible difference will be the fuel consumption which 300V tends to provide slightly better fuel consumption.

What I like What I like will be the fuel consumption, I managed to clock half tank approx230km compared to approx210km previously, proven ester base engine protection, smooth revving all the way to redline and the quiet operation when the car idling.
What I do not like Price Tag. Not for average car owner.
Motul knew they have great and reliable products on hand, so do numerous car manufacturers...
Challenge is for local distro to get them out on the streets! Having used a few brands of engine oil before trying the Motul 300V (including Motul 5w40), this EO still manages to surprise me. Easier cranking & ever so eager to rev on my non-turbo B&B car. Drives better when fully loaded with family members now.
This review was done after spending around 2000km since the Motul EO & filter change.

What I like Consistency, still rather clear & not black yet after some 2000km;
Easier cranking & people will appreciate this reliability in any place, any temperature;
Rev above 3.5k rpm, engine not as loud. Easier to keep it below 2k rpm @ 80km/h
What I do not like Need to source myself for next change, WS usually don't carry of charges way higher price;
Takes a toll on fuel consumption, around 40-50km less.
Trying not to have a placebo effect after an oil change is hard. You usually get the just service oil feeling,
Motul 300V has the usual just complete an oil change feeling. What the difference between this oil and the other oil needs to be factual. So, my usual oil, operating oil temp is hitting 108C during traffic jam. This is not to be confused with coolant temp at the usual 90degree mark.
With the Motul 300V, it runs a tad cooler at 99 to 102 degree C. It sound way "firmer" on idling and the turbo spools a tad quicker.
On a negative side, wish I had change to Motul 300V sooner.

What I like The refinement after the oil change. The feel of the turbo as well as the engine note is like a tune up although its really just an oil change Plus oil filter.
Quick a fair bit different from the usual brand oil from the petrol company off
What I do not like Probably the cost is a bit of a concern as well as the shorter mileage to oil change must be adhere to.
Double ester has it good quality and has come a long way since the earlier years.
Motul is far from being a stranger. This brand was already top on my list of choice oils from the days before I was driving. It was used extensively on my 400cc motorcycles that I have owned.

What I like One of the few truly Ester based fully synthetics that you can butt dyno for smoothness. A Vertu amongst the Samsungs and Iphones
What I do not like The price. While it is famed for low wear rates seen by UOA on the BITOG forums, the high price locally might put potential users off when there are other choices in the market that provides similar or slightly lower " protection ".
