Good Handling, Good Rim Protection But Harsh Ride
This came standard on my new Lexus ES300h, have drove 13,000km on it now. Size: 235/45R18 94Y. It has protected my rim a couple of times when I strike curb. Handling is confident. Road noise is loud on rougher surfaces. Quite harsh when going over imperfections. Not sure if it's due to the relatively larger rim size. I would go for 17" instead of my current 18" if I had a choice. Comfort is my priority. Not so sure about price as these tires came with my car.

Good and comfortable touring tires
Dunlop announce in Oct 2018 that all ES will be supplied with these tires. So mine came with it. During test drive, a set of different tires were used. This is my first ever Dunlop tires and so far I am happy with it. It's not perfect but good enough for a luxury car.

Dunlop sport maxx 050+
Been using this for 2 weeks (255/35/19). Very happy with the cornering grip, feels more confident during hard cornering and generally quite silent while cruising Thread is nicely designed but sidewall does look a bit boring (MIC and CONTI have best sidewall design), if you are into sidewall looks Paid 265 for each piece. Quite cheap for this size Can't comment on wear yet.

Review of Dunlop SP Sport Maxx 050+ after 5000k km run
I always want to see review of tyres when they are used after a certain mileage, instead of an instance review; Say after 100 km. But this is the normal review that one will get. I am sharing my review of these sets of 225/55R18 installed on my Mit ASX 2.0 crossover. My previous was Conti CPC6 which ran for 55,000 km before considered a change. The first 1000 km was all good; Low noise, good grip; Both rainy and cornering. But the noise level began to sound louder and since till now at 5000 km, the noise level is like most Jap tyres.. Ok, the performance level still good though; Both grip during raining and cornering. I would still think the Conti CPC6 are still good; Both in term of noise and performance which lasted quite a long while to almost a year before the noise level became more audible. The price difference isn't that big given the better features of the Conti. So for now, have to endure with the noisy tyres.
