Cinturato Rosso Seal Inside Tyre is the new addition to Pirelli’s highly acclaimed Cinturato family, designed for consumers looking for the best levels of safety and comfort, for everyday or long-distance driving. Cinturato Rosso Seal Inside Tyre delivers greater mileage and improved grip in both wet and dry conditions, whilst reducing noise to help you complete your everyday journey.
Seal Inside - Puncture Proof
Seal Inside is a new tyre construction technology that allows drivers to continue their journey without losing air pressure, even after the tyre has been punctured by an external object. This covers almost 85% of the possible accidental causes of pressure loss.
How Seal Inside?
Phase 1
The sealing mastic sticks to the object causing the puncture, creating a seal around the object if it remains in the tyre. Phase 2
When the object is removed from the tyre, the sealing mastic is “drawn” by the object into the hole, sealing the edges of the hole.
Puncture Control
Features:
Fully grooved ribs
Smooth force transitions thanks to side-to-side sipes
Improved comfort and driving pleasure
Directional tread pattern design
Scale-shaped rib. The V-shaped tread design with central zig-zag grooves is engineered to offer safety in aquaplaning situations as well
Variable depth of transversal grooves & 5° longitudinal channel
Optimised water evacuation
Reduced aquaplaning risk
High shoulder curvature
Higher area enlargement during braking, and uniform pressure distribution
Improved braking and handling performances
